Very clean and accessible place. They serve big portions and for economical prices. We liked the meals a lot and the waiters were very friendly and explanatory. I recommend this place.

Food was very good. I had the veggie burger and it was excellent. We had a eggs Benedict, also very good. The wait was beyond too long. Took us 40 minutes. Waitress was very nice. The place was half empty, no reason for a long wait.

Everything is great here. Clean and nice looking too.

Great food, i ordered a burger well done which is hard to make correctly especially at a restaurant and it was perfectly juicy and it tasted great. The staff for extraordinarily friendly was super cooperative. 5/5 definitely would go again

We were a large party. The employees went out of their way to pull tables together to make us feel comfortable. Food was plentiful. Great selection. A bit pricey.

Really enjoyed this diner, the wait time was incredibly fast and I got a chicken quesadilla with added bacon and it was great. Liked the look of the place as well and the prices were good. The one knock was I didnt think the iced coffee was good (Neither did my sister) but otherwise great place.

This is not your typical "everything is fried and low quality" type of diner. I go here all the time and am I always so impressed with the quality of food! Its a pretty popular place too so you know they have a fresh inventory. Highly recommended!

The staff was welcoming but the food was terrible, I really hate to say it because I liked our waiter and the person who rang us up but my fried shrimp was extremely salty, the mozzarella sticks tasted old and microwaved and the rice pudding tasted like cole slaw??? My friend and I were pretty disappointed.

Gets busy but they are very sharp and have great menu.

Good food, timely service despite the place being jam packed at 11:30pm. Seems to be a popular hang out for teens, they came in droves while we were there. Staff was very friendly, especially the head waitress, (I THINK she was the head waitress, but for the life of me I can't remember her name.) All in all, I would go back, good atmosphere, good service, good food.

Place is awesome inside... spotless! Burgers were good, cooked to perfection. Hope you like to eat because they give you a lot of food. The only complaint was the service. Disappeared a lot and waited on refills for a bit. All in all, it was a nice place to stop for a bite.

Very good place for weekend breakfast with friends & family. We ordered waffles & mushroom omelette, both were excellent. Actually waffle was the best I have had in 20 years. Simply awesome. Coffee & tea was served hot. Food came pretty quickly & the servers were very curtious & really friendly. Dinner was very clean & had good ambience. Will definitely come again.

I've been going to the Lake Grove diner for years. Now that I live in Chicago, going back here is even more special. Thanks for so many great memories. In my opinion, a meal at this diner is a true Long Island experience.

Average at best. Tasteless coleslaw. Bland food. I won't be back!! Only thing good was our waitress, great service.

This place is very clean, they have great portions, the ingredient used in the food is fresh, and the food is just delicious. Furthermore, they have great options and great service. Highly recommend!

This menu is so huge as is typical of places like this ... there's something wrong with you if you can't find something you like. Portions are generous, service is Swift and friendly . However the prices are definitely New York prices. Pictured here is a Chicken Caesar Salad, and the Moussaka. A little heavy on the eggplant , and the sauce was a bit bland, but overall pretty good. The chicken caesar salad had more than an entire chicken breast sliced up on top.

Lovely place!We went in and we're greeted and seated right away.Wonderful selection to choose from! Friendly staff and the manager is very attentive to the comfort of all the diners.They are well set up to handle the current situation with the staff in masks and social distancing kept in mind.

Lake Grove Diner is the only place my son and i will eat from, great food and fresh.

Price slightly higher, but food was much above average in presentation, taste and atmosphere. We Sat in the glass enclosed area which looked like it might have been the smoking section back in the day. Our waitress was one of the most beautiful, girl I have seen anywhere she was fantastic and we told her so, she was a knockout.

Great food & service, very clean, so clean the staff disturbs your dinning experience to clean, don't sit near kitchen or you won't here the end of plates clashing. Great food though

Great diner; needs more Greek choices.

We went to diner for breakfast yesterday. Waitress was okay but not that friendly. That started the experience. I ordered the farmers omelette and asked for extra bacon instead of sausage. I was lucky there was one piece of bacon in entire omelette. The peppers were not completely cooked and the home fries were hard. Butter was hard and toast was burned. We've been regulars at the diner but never again.

Average diner with a traditional American diner menu. From the exterior styling to the interior decor, from the wait staff to the menu this is a typical New York diner. Nothing about this place leaves a lasting impression. Food was absolutely okay as was the service. I'm sure I'll be visiting with the family again.

A good quality diner. I have enjoyed their food for many years.

Usually good service & food, however:1. Don't have "two eggs any style" on a menu if you can't have your eggs any style.2. Getting two plain eggs omelette-style shouldn't warrant an additional upcharge. The menu reads any style and I wasn't adding additional ingredients.

Food and service are always superb. I never had a bad experience and I’ve been going here for years. Food never disappoints. Pumpkin Pie is a must. Eggs Benedict are a must also. The sauce is second to none. This dinner is immaculate in cleanliness.

Food was delicious, and so very clean! Just ate there after first day opening after COVID19. Spotless, best Greek salad (Athenian) with grilled chicken I’ve had anywhere. Waitress and staff super friendly too!

I dont want anything to change so please dont start coming here and making it overly crowded. Lol. Meatloaf deluxe is A1 and the carrot cake is legit. I can't say enough about that damn meatloaf deluxe action. Perfect waffle fries. Pickup ordering is simple and painless.
